In Loving Memory of Bonnie Lynne (Howell) DeFazio

Bonnie Lynne (Howell) DeFazio, age 40, peacefully passed away on January 6, 2024, in her hometown of Melbourne, FL. Born on February 10, 1983, Bonnie's life journey touched the hearts of those who knew her.

A graduate of Satellite High School, Bonnie obtained a Cosmetology license from Brevard Community College, showcasing her determination and diverse skills. She further pursued her academic interests, earning an Associate in Science in Paralegal Studies at Eastern Florida State College.

Bonnie explored various career paths, including working in the legal field in Key West, where she found joy in the vibrant community and the unique experiences the area offered.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Bonnie had a creative spirit that quietly enriched her surroundings. Her artistic expressions, though unassuming, added a touch of beauty to the world.

Bonnie's interests were as varied as the simple joys she found in life. An appreciation for old Florida history, peaceful boating excursions, waterfront dining, and the flavors of seafood were among her greatest pleasures.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Skyler Sahlberg and Giovanni DeFazio, as well as her devoted parents, Linda and Joseph Howell. Bonnie is also survived by her sister, Heather (Howell) Widmer, and her grandmother Doris Howell. 

The family will not be hosting a public memorial service. A small, private celebration of life will occur at a later date. The family appreciates the support during this difficult time.

Bonnie's legacy lives on through the subtle beauty she brought to the world. May she find eternal peace in the embrace of fond memories.
