On Friday, September 30, 2022, Linda Mary Lippiatte, loving mother of three and grandmother of three, passed away peacefully at the William Child’s Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida.
Linda was born on January 22, 1953, in Burtonwood, England at Burtonwood United States Air Force Base Hospital. She was the daughter of Robert V. Lanoue (d. 2021) and Ada D. Lanoue (d. 2021). She is survived by her brother, Daniel R. Lanoue, her children Matthew D. Lippiatte, Melissa D. Mendenhall, and Melody A. Alicea and her grandchildren Jasmine A. Alicea, Benjamin A. Alicea and Natalie A. Alicea.
Linda is preceded in death by her father Robert V. Lanoue, mother Ada D. Lanoue, and sisters Kathleen D. Nail (d. 2011) and Debra Lanoue (d. 1957).
Linda had a strong faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus. She dedicated her time to her children and her grandchildren and enjoyed reading her Bible and crocheting. Linda never met a stranger. Anyone she met; was just a friend she hadn’t met yet. She always saw the good in everyone. Sometimes that is all she would see even if no one else could.
Family, friends and others whose lives Linda touched are invited to First Baptist Church of Melbourne, 3301 Dairy Road, Melbourne, FL 32904, on October 29, 2022, starting at 2:00pm to remember Linda’s life and pay your last respects. The family requests that you not wear black. There will be a small gathering at the church following the service.
In-lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in memory of Linda M. Lippiatte to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
