Obituary of Robert Holmes "Bobby" Lee, Jr.

Robert Holmes Lee Jr., known affectionately as Bobby, passed away on January 13, 2024 at his home in Titusville, Florida at the age of 69. He was born on November 30, 1954, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Bobby was a loving husband, devoted father, and adoring grandfather. Family meant everything to him, and he took immense joy in keeping them all together. Bobby was the life of the party, with an infectious smile and laughter that could light up any room. He was not a materialistic 

man; his greatest pleasure in life came from the love and company of his family. Bobby was a mentor and teacher to many as a flooring installer. He took pride in his work and dedicated his life to teaching young men the trade so they could provide for their own families, his son worked with his dad since the age of 5. Bobby is survived by his wife of 45 years, Christine Lee, and their daughters, Kasey Lee Wagner and Jennifer Lee Khan. He was a proud father-in-law to Peter Wagner and Derick Khan and a doting grandfather to his 11 

grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Henry Lee, his godfather and cousin, George Clofort, his mother, Iris Boudreaux, and his brother, Danford "Danny" Thornhill. Bobby's early days were filled with joyous gatherings of family and friends, where he would bring everyone together over a cold Budweiser. He had a gift for making strangers feel like old friends and created a welcoming atmosphere wherever he went. A celebration of Bobby's life will be held at a later date. The Beckman Williamson Funeral Home in Viera,

Florida, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Bobby's faith played an important role in his life, and he thanked the Lord every day for the blessings bestowed upon him and his family. He found solace and gratitude in waking up to a new day, enjoying meals with loved ones, and witnessing the health and wellbeing of his family.
