Obituary of Julie Ann Branswich

Julie Ann Branswich, 83, of Viera, Florida, entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2024, at St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care, Melbourne, Florida. Julie was born on November 16, 1940, in West Pike Run Township (Daisytown), Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Alexander and Pearl (Tatrai) Branswich. She is a 1958 graduate of California High School, California, Pennsylvania, and briefly attended Penn State University later in life.

Julie is survived by her daughter, Dina (Steven) Reider-Hicks of Viera, Florida; son, Marc Wagner of Chesapeake, Virginia; sister, Monica (Nicholas) DiNunzio of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, sister-in-law, Rita Branswich of Dalmatia, Pennsylvania; her loving grandchildren, Christopher Reider and Alexander Reider of Viera, Florida and Emily Wagner and Stone Wagner of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Frank Branswich.

Julie enjoyed a successful career as an Administrative Assistant for state and municipal governments in Pennsylvania and Maryland. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football, and always enjoyed talking about life in Pittsburgh. But, most of all, Julie cherished her faith and family.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 26 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Community in Viera, Florida.
