Obituary of David Wayne Hassett

David W. "Baker Dave" Hassett, 71, passed away January 11, 2024, at Cape Canaveral Hospital. Born in Manchester, CT June 12, 1952, son of the late Richard and Jean (Cordner) Hassett. He attended Manchester schools, graduating from Manchester High in 1970. He worked for many years at Farr’s in Manchester before moving to Cocoa Beach, Florida.

David is survived by his daughter Katherine Hassett of Manchester and brother Kurt (Linda) of Manchester, nieces Liz Sweazy (Mike), their children Emma and Owen, Rush, NY and Stephanie Troutman (Jeffrey), their children Benjamin and Andrew, Manchester. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Stephen Hassett.

Beckman-Williamson Funeral Homes Cocoa Beach has charge of arrangements. There are no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held at the VFW Cocoa Beach on Friday January 19.
