Obituary of Sybil Largent

On Monday, October 2, 2023, Sybil Steele Largent passed away at Viera Hospital in Melbourne, Florida, surrounded and supported by her family and dedicated teams of professionals. Born September 20, 1935 in Marytown, West Virginia, she had a long successful career with the federal government working with the FBI, Maryland Legislature, Naval Academy Chaplains’ office and Economics Department and at NASA as a Contract Administrator. She was preceded in death by her sone James (Jacqui) Largent and companion Thomas Mackesy. Survivors include her daughter Sharon Largent, daughter Susan (Ronnie) Newnam, son David (Lora) Largent; 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Health First Foundation
