We first met Mr. Abramowitz (as we knew him) in Korea when his son Dave and I were stationed together. He was completely engaging, and I took advantage of every opportunity I had to see him as Dave and I moved around in the Army, and after we both retired. Getting to know him over the past 20 years has been most enjoyable. Intelligent and articulate, he was always sincerely interested in what we were doing, and even took time to pass on Army advice to our youngest daughter after she too became an Army Aviator. He was a man of character, completely devoted to his family, his Army, his country, and his faith. He lived a life of service to others, and set the example for all of us to follow. We will miss him, but are better for having known him.
