Obituary of Amy Elizabeth Allen

Amy Elizabeth Allen was called home to be with her Lord on August 31, 2023.

She was born in Miami Florida on September 16, 1977. In 1993 the family moved to Cocoa Beach Fl. where she graduated from Cocoa Beach High School in June 1995. Amy was on the Swim Team and a member of the Army ROTC, she was also in the Minutemen Marching Band playing the Alto Sax and the Flute. Amy later graduated from BCC where she earned her AA degree.

Amy loved all animals big and small from hamsters to tigers, having many cats, dogs, gerbils and hamsters but never a tiger ! She loved Dolphins ,walking on the beach or just sitting by the ocean to read and was a Miami Dolphins Football fan.

She made friends wherever she went and was loved by many. Amy was a loving , caring daughter, sister and mother. She leaves behind her mother Sonja Gherman, sister Anne Marie Wunsch, children Kyley Anne, Luke and Bradley, along with many life-long friends here in Cocoa Beach. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday September 23rd at 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church Cocoa Beach in the Memorial Prayer Garden.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Florida United Methodist Children's Home c/o First UMC Cocoa Beach, or the SPCA of Brevard.
