Obituary of June Bryan

June Bryan passed into God’s hands Sunday morning 27 August 2023 @ 7:36 am at St. Francis Reflections in Titusville, Florida. A longtime resident of Cocoa Beach for around 6 decades (except for a short stint in California in the late 70s) she left her mark on many individuals. A beloved fifth and sixth grade science teacher and then librarian at Freedom 7 Elementary she was nicknamed “Granny the Good Witch” in the 70’s which was shortened to “Granny”. All the kids wanted to be assigned to her classroom! In her retirement she took care of her mother for more than 20 years and then her husband upon his illness for more than 10 years. She lifted us all up with love and provided inspiration on how to care for and treat others.

She is now reunited with her beloved husband of 64 years Avron (deceased 2014) and oldest daughter Nancé (deceased 1975). She leaves behind: son David, daughter Peggy, grandchildren Walker and David, great-grandchildren Coleson, Ocean and Riot, niece Julie and nephew Scott, a great nephew Jon who kept in touch, and her cat Sasha.
