Obituary of Matthew G. Meyers

Matthew G. Meyers, of Satellite Beach, FL, passed away August 18, 2023 in his home surrounded by his family. He is the beloved son of Frederick (Bud) and Donna Meyers.

Matthew is survived by his brothers Mark (Karen) Meyers of Melbourne, FL, Jeffrey (Kristen) Meyers of Fairfax, VA; and an uncle to five nephews and one niece.

Matthew enjoyed attending Bridges for over 20 years where he had many friends that he enjoyed seeing every day. Some of his favorite activities were arts and crafts.

Matthew was the heart of the family and held them together in love and in faith. When he was 10 years old, he was taken on a pilgrimage by his parents to Fatima in Portugal where he received his First Communion and then was blessed in Rome by Pope John Paul II. 

Mattew always had a twinkle in his bright blue eyes and was ready to greet a stranger with a broad smile and a high five.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday September 9, 2023 at 11:00AM in the South Patrick Chapel, 84 Harrier Ave Satellite Beach, FL 32937. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Matthew's memory to St Jude Children's Hospital.

Matthew will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
