Obituary of Lucille Raines Turner

Lucille Raines Turner, a long time resident of Cocoa Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on August 4, 2023. She was born in Sledge, Mississippi on March 11, 1929 to William Anderson Raines and Nancy Bell Parrish Raines.

 

Lucille is survived by her four children; Shirley Ozmore (Kenneth), Patricia Robinson (Keith), Gary Turner (Holly), and Rhonda Turner, nine Grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband Lenord (Jack) Turner, her sister Lillian Lucas, her brother Omer Raines, Grandson Brandon Turner, and Son-In-Law John Frey.

 

Lucille lived in Mississippi, Memphis,Tennessee, Oak Ridge, Tennessee and moved to Cocoa Beach in 1965.  She retired as a realtor and was co-owner of a Tile and Carpet Store.  She enjoyed traveling and dancing with her many friends.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

 

A Celebration Of Lucille’s Life will be held on August 26, at 2 O’Clock at the Sunset Cafe and Waterfront Grill in Cocoa Beach.  All relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
