Obituary of John "Tim" Scott

John (Tim) Scott was born on January 7th, 1938 in Chicago, IL and went to his heavenly home on July 18th surrounded by his loving family.

He was the loving husband of his high school sweetheart, Sherry for sixty-four years, the devoted father of four children, the grandfather of five and great grandfather of one.

After serving nine years in the United States Air Force, John relocated to Brevard County to pursue a career in the Space Industry where he was employed for forty years.  In addition, he served as an elder and youth director at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockledge.

In his retirement, he enjoyed many hobbies such as painting, wood working, magic, and music of all kinds.  He volunteered at the Veteran’s Memorial Center.  He also took great pleasure in being part of the Magic Dove Magic Shop family.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 22nd at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home at 5400 Village Drive Rockledge, FL 32955.

Visitation from 12:00 – 1:00 PM

Service at 1:00 PM

In lieu of flowers, the Central Brevard Humane Society will be accepting donations in his memory.
