Victor Chiariello

Obituary of Victor J. Chiariello

Victor (Vic), 86, passed away on 1/21/23 after a brief illness and leaves behind his beloved wife, Fran (née: Urbanski), of 65 years. He is survived by brother, Donald Chiariello; two sons, Joseph V. (Spouse, Karen) and Steven M. (Spouse, Jackie), and daughter Susan Dolan (Spouse, Michael); grandchildren Vincent, Jeffrey, Alexander, Lindsay, and Samantha; and two great granddaughters, Charlotte and Elle. Vic was a Baltimore native graduating from Forest Park High School in 1955 and married Fran in 1958. Already a proud member of the US Navy Reserves, he proceeded to hold several jobs in his early married years to support his growing family and attended night school to obtain his BS, Accounting, from University of Baltimore (conferred in 1973). Vic’s resume included employment with Burroughs, Martin Marietta, Maryland National Bank, and the University Of Maryland, College Park, where he retired from in 1998. He also had many fond years of selling real estate for Grempler Realtor as a part time agent. Vic and Fran relocated to Florida in 2000 to lead a very active and full retirement. Never one to sit still he kept both his body and mind active. An avid and ferocious reader, he consumed books and travelled with his wife extensively through the US and Europe on hiking and walking tours. Vic gave much to his family to hold as cherished memories, however, all that met him will remember his love of golf, fishing, pickle ball, bicycling, and most of all, his smile and always, always, holding Frans hand. A catholic mass for Vic will be held on February 25, 2023 at 10:45 am at St John the Evangelist Catholic Community at 5655 Stadium Parkway, Melbourne, FL. 32940.
