I just found out about this today. Jeff was one of my best friends in high school. We did so much together and spent so much time together. I always enjoyed seeing him at the class reunions and even at this last 50 year one. I did not have many real friends in high school, but Jeff was one.

Jeff and my husband James Mays and I were good friends while in our TA class of 1971. Jeff always made us laugh. James suddenly passed away in 2016 so now I feel that they are back together telling jokes and puns and making each other laugh. My condolences and prayers to his family and friends. I am glad that he came back for our 50th high school reunion so I could get a warm Jeff hug.

Ruby and Mark.....My brother and I have fond memories of growing up with Jeff. We spent many hours playing sports and just roaming the neighborhood(in Virginia). It's always sad to lose someone who was a part of your childhood. Our thoughts and prayers are with you...

Jeff was a wonderful mentor to me. He was always kind, and had many jokes and stories to tell; he spoke praises of Mary and his children practically daily. He knew the value of good food, and was happy to share that experience with others, even if they disagreed on something. Jeff encouraged me to never stop learning; to value my contributions understand my true worth at work; and to not be afraid to have a different opinion, as all points of view are important. His lessons are timeless, and stick with me to this day. May those who knew him well always have strong beer, delicious food, and joyous conversations; and may we all remember Jeff and his legacy.
