Obituary of Evelyn Doherty

Evelyn Doherty was called home to our Lord on Monday, June 6th, 2022 at 80 years of age in Melbourne, Florida. Born July 29th, 1941. She was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She married Thomas Doherty in 1980 while living in New York and together they continued to raise their blended family of six loving children. Faith, family, and friends were the cornerstones of her life and she was known to many as the “Social Director”. Her kind, caring, and giving nature were her strong attributes as well as her desire to make people laugh and she loved to pull off a good prank! She is survived by her husband Thomas Doherty, three of her children and their spouses Jeanette and William, Mark and Kathy, Christine and Kevin as well as three children through her marriage with Tom which included Tommy, Joanne, and Michael, and Patricia and Todd. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family is invited to attend a funeral service Monday, June 13th scheduled 12-1 pm, and Friends and the public are invited to attend the funeral service between 1-3 pm at
