To Damona & Mychelle,
The members of the Stonewood Club would like to express to you and your family our deepest condolences. Words cannot express how sadly we all feel on her passing.
Anne was such a vibrant woman who always wanted to help more than she was able to do. She attended as many of our social functions as she could and we were always so happy to see her. One Christmas, she got up to dance, oxygen tank and all. There was no stopping her. What a zest for life she had.
We will always remember her and keep her in our prayers. Our hearts go out to you both. She was so lucky to have you in her life and you both to have her.
Just know that she is missed by many.
With Deep Sympath and Love,
Gloria Marrone,
Secretary of the Stonewood Club

To Mychelle & Damona and family,
We were both heart-broken to learn of your Mom's death. We regret deeply that we were out of town when she died.
Anne brought so much happiness to so many lives - especially here at Stonewood.
We always felt lucky when Anne would sit with us at our social functions. In fact, as I sit here at my computer writing to you, in front of me is the last photo I have of Anne taken at our Xmas party last year. She is sitting at our table with Kay. I will treasure this photo now forever.
I enjoyed our many late evening phone calls when Anne would amuse me with Hershey's latest antics or whisper girl talk things.
It is hard to believe that she is gone. She will always be remembered by us and we keep her deep in our heart.
Right now our prayers go out to you her daughters. She always spoke lovingly of both of you. You both were the joy of her life - truly.
Keep her memory alive. Remember all the hppy things that you did together. Know that both of you were loved deepely by her. You were what matter most to her.
If we can help you in any way, please let us know. Although a burning light has gone out with her death, she lives forever in all our memories.
Take care.
Fondly,
Gloria & Milton Marrone

I was a friend of Anne's at Temple and for years afterward. I remember all the fun times we had at Temple and working at the shore the summer after graduation. I remember that she was my maid of honor when I was married. I remember so many fun times together. I sympathize with you at this difficult time. You gave your mother's life a new dimension.

Dear Mychelle and Damona,
Your mother, Anne, was a legendary beauty of great charm and intelligence. I have so many warn and funny
memories of our younger days, especially at Temple University and our summers in Wildwood, New Jersey which I will never forget. She was so proud of both of you, and you have acquired all her wonderful characteristics plus your own unique qualities. She and Jack were so lucky and thrilled to have you and to watch you grow up into the strong and beautiful women that you are now. I hope that their love and the good times that you shared with them will be of great consolation and comfort to you at this difficult time.
May the sorrow you feel now quickly change to the happiness that Anne and Jack would want you to have always. My best wishes to both of you forever.
With love,
Chris Christman

Damona and Mychelle and family.. You definitely know what a special person your mom was. I feel so blessed to have been her friend. Mainly..she was sooooo much fun to be with and always smiling even when she really didn't feel that good. My special memories of her were at the Space Coast concerts that we went to last year together. She sat next to me where my husband used to sit and she, like him, LOVED the music and many times we both had tears in our eyes at the beautiful music that we heard...Those were special times for Ann and me. After the concerts several of us gals went out to dinner and having Ann with us made it "extra" special..Mom and I really enjoyed our glass of wine (or two) and being with special friends. That's how I remember mom. A friend that I will never forget. No one in Stonewood will ever forget her. She was so proud of both of you girls. You have been wonderful daughters to her. Keep talking to her...She will hear you where she is. Love, Pat (Weber)

Mychelle & Damona,
We share in your loss of your mom and pray that you find comfort knowing that she has now reunited with your dad. I loved coming to your house because your parents cared about everyone they came in contact with. You both carry that trait as a testimony to your parents. We love you and will keep you in our prayers. -Jim & Samantha

Dear Cousins, Mychelle and Damona: I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Aunt Ann is resting peacefully in heaven. Your mom taught several of my friends in 1st grade and they always reminded me that Miss Goldbeck was their absolute favorite teacher...they never forgot her even after almost 50 years! My mom, your Aunt Jane, loved Ann like a sister...I am sure they are catching up now in heaven. I will be praying for you that you find peace as you grieve your loss. I love you, Aunt Ann. Your niece, Barbara

I am greatful to be able to say I knew Mrs Anne Charters. People used to gravitate to the Charters house back in Montclair. Truth be told having two beautiful daughters, Mychelle and Damona helped contribute to the popularity of their household, but Mr and Mrs Charters had the ability to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome no matter how much I, I mean we, managed to eat. I dare to say I spent more time after school at their house than I did at my own home because of the atmosphere they had around their home. I am grateful to have known Mrs Charters and she will always remain a special thought in my memories. Mychelle and Damona are who they are today because of their parents and the loving home they had together.

Dear Damona and Mychelle:
Since I met your cousin Joanne in 1994 I heard so many wonderful stories of her treasured moments with you Mom. It wasn't long after Joanne and I met that I had the opportunity to speak with you Mom over the phone, and have had that pleasure frequently since that time. Over the years we had some great conversations, and I always enjoyed her voice, which had a special warmth about it.
I learned on one occasion that your Dad was a Sig Ep from Temple, and when I shared that I also was a Temple Sig Ep your Mom started telling Joanne to take better care of me.
When you Mom visited with us in Upper Gwynedd in 1997 we had a great time and all of us laughed hard and enjoyed each other's friendship.
I very much feel as though Aunt Anne was a real Aunt to me and ever more so a real friend.
Aunt Anne you are missed, but will live forever in our hearts.
Love,
Harry

Dear Mychelle and Damona:
My Memories of your sweet Mother and my Aunt Anne:
I remember Wildwood, New Jersey, the Lucky Strike Club, Tab Hunter, Cozy Morley with his pink Cadillac and blue suede shoes.
Cozy came to pick me up at my Mom's (Aunt Miriam) so I could crown your Mother as the Temple University's 1956 May Queen.
I was so proud, yet so scared to walk down that long aisle, and then I saw your Mother's sweet face and then I felt that I could do it. That was one the proudest moments of my life, and I vividly remember that 53 years later - somethings you never forget.
Aunt Anne you were always a hero of mine, taking care of your Mother at your young age. We all know how difficult that was on you.
I also remember when you and Uncle Jack announced your two blessings, Damona Claire and Mychelle Anne. You were literally on Cloud 9 and all of us knew it. Your dreams finally came true.
I will truly miss our weekly phone calls, especially when Harry was home to tease you about your itsy bitsy yellow polka dot bikini.
Truly missed and loved!
Joanne

Dear Mychelle and Damona:
Your Mom and I called each other "sisters", "inlaws" just didn't seem to cut it with her. We shared so many happy and sad times in our loving relationship of sity-one years. We would lift each other up during the "valley days" and, Oh what fun times we had when life peaked for us.
I fondly remember our trip to New York City and our wonderful stay at Michael's penthouse - thanks to you Mychelle for a never to be forgotten experience. In fact it was Joe's first visit to NYC and what a time we all had in the Big Apple.
Damona, we had so much fun when you and your Mom visited us, and loved your compliment as you referred to our house as teh "Best Bed and Breakfast".
I loved waiting on your Mom and getting her together for her Roxborough High School Class Reunion when she last visited. Serving her freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee in bed made her feel so special, and she loved the special attention, and I loved making her feel special.
Your Mom was beautiful inside and out, and so loved by everyone she touched.
Now my love and prayers are with both of you. I know she was so proud of each of you. Surely she is with God looking down on both of you, and she will never leave you!
Love,
Aunt Miriam and Uncle Joe
