Colonel Haskell Schwartz, 88, passed away December 6th, 208. He was the beloved husband for 58 years of Iva (nee Schildmeier), loving father of Sandra (Ken) Krebs, proud grandfather of Mark Krebs, fond brother of Mary (the late Harold) Berke and devoted uncle of Susan (Ben) Frank and Barnett Frank and Barbara (Jerry) Poliacoff and Zachary Poliacoff.
Haskell was a retired Air Force Colonel and veteran of WW II and the Korean War. He was base commander of the Indiana National Guard and was also chosen as one of six military O.S.I. to investigate all of the commands in Europe.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, December 11th at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach. Interment with full military honors will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
