Alva Mann

Obituary of Alva M Mann

Alva M. Mann of Melbourne, Florida, passed away April 23, 2024.

She was born in Richmond, California, in 1942, and was the eldest child of Alva G. and Georgene Bradley.

She is survived by her daughters, Dianna Johnson of Florida, and Linda Clark of California; her grandchildren, Tonya Alcala, and Tracy Clark, and three great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Francisco, and Enrique Alcala; her siblings Joyce Hatzell and Greg Bradley of California and numerous additional family members.

She leaves behind her fur-babies, Mickey and Boo, who will miss her thorough brushings and lap naps.

Everyone who knew Twink knew how much she loved quilting and visiting with her family and friends, whether it was for a meal or playing games ---dominoes---. No matter where she lived, she was always able to make friends and looked forward to having a great time with them every chance she could. She also enjoyed taking cruises and visiting different destinations in the Caribbean as well as historical land destinations and theme parks in Florida.

Mom will always be remembered for her cooking and baking and the way that she cared for her family. We'll always imagine hearing her say "come home when the streetlight comes on" or, "you better not have been in that creek". We couldn't have asked for a better mom and we will miss her every day. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brevard County Sheriff's Office Pet Posse.
