Obituary of Nathalie Marie Stuntz Koch

Nathalie Marie Stuntz Koch

Named after the Lord’s birthday, Nathalie was born December 25, 1934 in Akron, Ohio to George and Gertrude Stuntz. She attended Randolph Macon College and transferred to Ohio State University to study dietetics. Nathalie was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, where she made lifelong friendships and met her husband, Frank Koch. On their first date, Nathalie and Frank fell in love and were engaged. They were married on November 24th, 1955 and had three children: Sharon Register, Ted Koch, and Luann Koch Krahmer. As a mother and wife, Nathalie cared for her family while working as a dietitian and later, a bookkeeper. Her greatest joy was spending 60 years married to the man of her dreams.

Nathalie had a love of playing games and hosting family and friends over with an “open door policy”. She was very generous and hospitable, donating to many charities and receiving others into her home when they needed a place to go. Nathalie took pride in her cooking and loved others by always making sure their bellies were full. She was a parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church for over 20 years, and often recited her favorite saint’s motto; “Pray, hope, and don’t worry” -St. Padre Pio.

Nathalie passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 88. A funeral mass will be held October 2nd, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church in Viera. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in her honor.   https://stmaryrockledge.org
