Obituary of Edward "Ned" Evans II

Edward "Ned" A. Evans II  of Viera, Florida, passed away on April16, 2023, after a long illness. He was born on September 18, 1943, in Marysville, California to the late Jack and June Evans. Ned graduated High School in Miami, FL. and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Park College.

Ned served in the Air Force from 1961 to 1983, retiring after 22 years of service. During his military career, he was stationed in Guam, Viet Nam, Turkey, Germany, and various stateside bases. After retiring from the Air Force, he began his second career with Grumman Aerospace in Dayton, Ohio and later with Northrop Grumman  in Melbourne, Florida where he retired in 2006.

Ned was a very personable person who never met a stranger. He loved his fishing trips with his friends and summer motorhome travels with his wife, Linda.

Ned is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Susan (Eric) Wheeler; granddaughter, Tessa Wheeler; sister, Michelle Wisham; and niece, Denise Wisham.

Services will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, May 17th at 1:00PM
