Obituary of Diane Carol McDaniel

Diane Carol McDaniel, 53, died unexpectedly January 8, 2023, at her home in Melbourne, Florida. She was born August 14, 1969 in Long Beach, California, the daughter of Bobby McDaniel and Dartha McDaniel Hilbert. She completed high school in Merritt Island, Florida while living with her mother and stepfather, Bobby Hilbert. Diane graduated from North Texas Central College with an Associates Degree with Honors. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her kind and generous spirit positively impacted every life she touched. She spent most of her adult life caring for others and lived a life of love and service. Diane is predeceased by her mother, Dartha Hilbert, her stepfather, Bobby Hilbert, and daughter, Kristin McDaniel. Surviving in addition to her father, Bobby McDaniel of Melbourne, Florida are her son, Alec Lambert, of Highland Village, Texas and three grandchildren, Kiana Foster, Damian Foster, both of Virginia, and Katherine Garland of Indiana. A service for Diane will be held 11:00a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Faith Viera Lutheran Church, 5550 Faith Drive, Rockledge, Florida 32955. Her remains will be placed in the church Columbarium immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Diane in a special way may make gifts in her memory to Faith Viera Lutheran Church.
