Obituary of Robert William Cilsick
CILSICK, Robert William, 85, of Melbourne, Fla., passed away December 14, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. “Bob” Cilsick was the son of William and Helen Cilsick. He is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Betty Jo Stokes Cilsick; son, Ryan Cilsick (Kim); and daughter, Ronda Cilsick. He is also survived by stepgrandchildren, Brandon and Kyle. Bob grew up in Jersey City, N.J., but always claimed to be a southerner after he attended the University of Georgia, where he played baseball and met his wife. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, enjoyed spending time at their lake house on Lake Anna in Va. and loved to travel. Family was the center of his life and he was a devoted husband and father. If you knew Bob, you knew he enjoyed life and loved to joke around; he lived a full life filled with love and laughter. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A small service will be held grave side at Boones Creek Cemetery in St. George, Ga. at a date in the future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
