Obituary of Lee A. Murray

Lee A.Murray, age 85, devoted wife to her husband Bill and loving mother of four went to be with Jesus on the morning of September 13, 2022. She will always be remembered as a gentle soul, who loved deeply and gave generously. She had a tender heart for animals, gently cared for her plants,and loved her view of the ocean. She loved spending time with her family and going out to eat at local restaurants. Her incredible work ethic led her to become a computer program engineer at Kennedy Space Center. She had a peaceful and gracious spirit. As a family, we are grateful for the role model she was and the sweet memories that we shared. Throughout our lives, we have seen her face many trials with strength and courage. Her character of love and strength will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Marjorie Roberts, brother, Ted Roberts and sister, Eve Kempski. Survived by her husband, William Murray; son, Gene Arnold Weeks II; grandson, Gene A. Weeks III (Trey) and his wife, Tracey; great grandchildren, Taylor and Gracie; grandson, Brandon Chambers; daughter, Deborah Swenson and her husband, Ron; grandson, Cameron Green; son, David Weeks and his wife, Fran; daughter, Pam Johns and her husband, Josh; grandson, Luke Johns and his wife, Hannah; granddaughter, Autumn Diaz and her husband, Nikko; great grandchildren, Magnolia and Morgan; grandson, Connor Johns, and grandson, Jacob Johns. On September 24th, at 10am, we will have a Celebration of Life Ceremony at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home Chapel.
