Obituary of Patrick Joseph O'Leary

Patrick Joseph O'Leary (Patio, Pat, PJ) died peacefully in Viera Hospital, Melbourne, FL on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022. Pat was born in New York City on September 14th, 1961. He lived in London, England and for most of his life in Bergenfield New Jersey. He graduated from Bergenfield High School and lived in Bergenfield until 2019 when he relocated to Rockledge, Florida. He was a former member of the Bergen County Dart Players (ABCD) and the Bergenfield Elks Lodge 1477 for many years. Pat was passionate about sports. A lifelong supporter of the NY Jets NY Mets and Crystal Palace Football club in London. He rarely missed a American Football game or English Premier League Football game on TV. He also enjoyed heavy metal rock music, especially his favorite band Led Zepplin and could often be found watching game shows on TV. Pat is survived by his dearly loved daughter Kaitlyn, former wife, Christine, his sisters and brothers-in-law, Maria O'Leary-Ridings (Richard), Karen Yuhasz (Edward), Eileen Murray (Weston), many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved father and mother Patrick J. O'Leary and Kathleen Burke O'Leary. No services will be held at this time and the family requests no donations or flowers be sent. If you were a friend or acquaintance, please take a moment to remember him, and know your kind wishes are appreciated. Family members will be scattering Pat’s ashes in a private ceremony.
