Obituary of Vivian Mae Harris
Vivian Harris, 97, a longtime resident of Rockledge FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Vivian was born on May 15, 1924 in Komensky, WI, the daughter of Guy and Frances (Antosh) Ransom.
She leaves behind her beloved Tom Yankus, Children: JoAnn Asselin of E Longmeadow, MA, Judith Veronesi of Boston, MA and Rockledge, FL, John Veronesi (Kathleen) of West Springfield, MA and Gina Strominger(Ken) of New Smyrna Beach, FL., 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husbands Aldo Veronesi and Bill Harris. Sisters (Fern Anger, Blanche Fitzpatrick, Florence Gosch) and Brothers (Clyde Ransom, Adolph Ransom).
Vivian had a feisty and outgoing personality. Her creative talents were numerous. She was an Artist and Crafter Extraordinaire. She pursued her family’s genealogy with passion. She did extensive research dating back to the 1500’s. She had a beautiful voice and was often called upon to sing at church and social functions. She enjoyed all the wonderful cruising and travelling she did with Tom, exploring across the U.S. and Europe.
Friends are invited to celebrate her life at 10:00 on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022 at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, 5400 Village Dr., Viera, FL. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Merrillan, WI at a later date.
