Obituary of Rosemary Barnett

Rosemary Barnett, 78, passed away June 30, 2010 at her home. She was born in New York City and was married there to Richard Barnett in 1951. They lived in New York, Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Potomac, Maryland, before settling in Cocoa Beach in 1972. She was the owner of the Nova Lounge in Merritt Island for many years before her retirement in 2003. She was predeceased by her husband’s Richard Barnett (1975) and Paul Jarrett (2004) and survived by her daughters, Rosemary Barnett (Jay Lyons) of Merritt Island, Terry Barnett of Cocoa Beach, and Denise Collins (Richard) of Cocoa Beach and Buffalo, New York, and two grandsons Spencer King (Devin) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Tyler King of Cocoa Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00pm Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Our Savior's Catholic Church, 5301 N. Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach on.
